N97 Tour: Day 9, Flights to Chicago
Now that I have the proper version of WordMobi installed, I can properly recall the events from yesterday and our flights to Chicago.
Bright and early Thursday morning we jumped on a plane to Minneapolis for a connecting flight to Chicago. It was a very long day and we were all pretty irritable by the time we got to the hotel.
The Conrad Hotel instantly lifted our spirits when we saw our rooms, though. It’s extravagance compared to our other hotels thus far is unmatched (shy of the rooftop pool and breakfast suite at the La Petit in Los Angeles).
To celebrate our first night, I met with my buddy Ben and his friends for dinner at the Rockit Bar and Grill to celebrate his birthday. My steak was perfect and the dessert was even better.
